Meet Chrissy Khachane
With over 20 years of experience in public and private education, Chrissy’s expertise and training have created a wide and deep level of experience in child development. Chrissy prides herself in utilizing an empathy-led approach when supporting children, families, and schools.
Her diverse career includes roles as a classroom teacher, literacy and learning specialist, and leadership positions in independent schools. Beyond education, Chrissy has supported online program development for Cricket Media and contributed to combating online safety for children as a board member and COO at SOSA. She has also served on FARE’s (Food Allergy Research & Education) Outcomes Research Advisory Board.
Chrissy holds degrees from Columbia University’s Teachers College, the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, and Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, three sons, and rescue pup. Her writing has been featured in several media outlets, and she has been a repeat guest and contributor on various local news networks.
